Healing In Country's Top 20%
Exceptional results have seen a North East Lincolnshire school named in the nation's top 20 per cent for progress.
Healing School has been nationally recognised for its performance by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT).
Principal Mark Knapton will be presented with a SSAT Educational Outcome award at a regional celebration.
He said: "Progress is the key Government performance indicator, measuring a child from arriving in secondary school at the end of Key Stage 2 to leaving after Key Stage 4.
"Parents need to be confident a school is making a difference to their child's outcomes and this award demonstrates Healing continues to do exactly that.
"I'm delighted with it. It is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our pupils and staff.
"We have been consistent in our high achievements over a number of years and this award recognises the relentless pursuit of outstanding performance at Healing.
"Our village school continues to perform above its weight in national league tables and I'd like to thank everybody involved in its success.
"This includes pupils, teaching and non-teaching staff, the senior leadership team, governors, parents and the wider community."
The Chief Executive of SSAT Sue Williamson praised the Ofsted-rated outstanding school.
She said: "It's my great pleasure to commend Healing School on its excellent 2016 performance, and to have the opportunity to highlight and share its great work at a SSAT Educational Outcomes celebration event.
"We know how hard teachers work to ensure the success of every child.
"SSAT's Educational Outcomes award recognises the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at Healing School. A big thank you and well done to the pupils, staff and governors."
