Grand Day Out!
Year 7 pupils show their grandparents around the school library on grandparents' afternoon.
Grandparents were put to the test against their grandchildren during a special afternoon at Healing School.
A quiz pitched the Year 7 hosts against their visitors during a hugely popular afternoon which 200 people attended overall.
Tea, cakes and lessons were also on the agenda as the pupils and school said 'thank you' for the grandparents' support.
Principal Mark Knapton said: "We love to recognise the important contribution that grandparents make in the education of our pupils.
"Supportive parents and grandparents are crucial to what we do as a school. We know everybody leads busy lives and many grandparents play a key, supportive role, and encourage their grand sons and daughters.
"This was our way of saying thank you. We had some lovely comments and the afternoon was much appreciated by the grandparents."
